Hi. Who am I?

"I started out as a child..."
Having fun at a barbeque, August 1998.
"... and have remained so -- resolutely!"

Good grief! Already too far into 2001 ... somehow.
One thing that I've noticed in the last 12 months -- I haven't much missed being in public schools. Sure, there are those times that I think of something that could be applied to a schoolroom situation, but I've noticed that I don't miss the whining kids who tell their parents what to do, nor the whining parents who try to buy their children's affections, nor the gutless administrators who pander to both. I have become a full-time rural mail carrier and enjoy the additional pay, responsibility, and independence. I have my sights set on a computer career -- hopefully by the end of this year!

Hmmm.... I have had a false start on my MCSE computer certification -- the online firm started me on the final module, not the beginning. At the moment, I am considering a summer course at a local community college that gives me a basic networking certification. However, this would mean relinquishing my auxiliary route, so I'm not sure . . . (see postal page ).
I am ready. But enough about work.
Currently, my life is pretty boring! I have forsaken a lot of leisure-time activities as I have tried to focus on work + study while doing some home improvements and attempting to make something on an internet relationship with a Russian woman. Once again, the latter seems to have fooled me and all I have positive to say is -- it's been a nice dream at times . . . be an elusive and huge waste of time.
Life is still good. There are other things to worry about -- thank goodness for that :o)-- and to enjoy .
